-- Chris Narveson worked into the fourth inning today, getting two outs before being relieved by Tim Dillard. Narveson had some issues with command, walking three, though he was able to strand all his baserunners.
-- Youngsters Tyler Thornburg and Wily Peralta each threw two innings, and each were hit a little, which, in concert with some errors, led to each allowing two unearned runs while striking out two. Peralta also hit a double after a Padre outfielder missed a diving catch.
-- Jonathon Lucroy added two singles in three at-bats, raising his Cactus League average to .579. That number doesn't really mean anything, but Lucroy has been swinging the bat well this Spring, and at 26, is still young enough where he may have a few improvements left up his sleeve.
-- After some initial oh-fers that were mildly disconcerting, Aramis Ramirez is heating back up again. The new third baseman reached base twice in three trips to the plate.
-- Looking to the edges of the roster, Taylor Green hit a homerun in the seventh inning. Logan Schafer also had a hit, which is something you can probably just assume happened going forward.
The Brew Crew resumes action tomorrow with a split-squad against the Mariners and Royals.
