Prince charms Snakes in Crew's 4-3 win

Score one for the Big Vegan. Prince Fielder scored the first run for the Brewers Monday night...but the last run he scored was the more important one. After the D-backs manufactured a run in the top of the 2nd to take a 1-0 lead, Prince got it back for starter Jeff Suppan. After Prince singled, he advanced to second on a wild pitch in the dirt courtesy of former Brewer Doug Davis. Then... The Big Vegan stole...third base! Okay, so it was not quite as entertaining as Prince's inside-the-park home run in the Metrodome last year, but still was a site to see. Prince scored on a Bill Hall sac fly moments later. The scored was tied 3-3 heading into the 8th inning...when Prince scored the winning run on a shot to left-center field, his 9th of the year. Suppan was impressive--3 ER in 7 IP; Davis was even more impressive--allowing just 1 ER over 6 IP over the mostly right-handed Brewers' line-up. The Brewers have now won four straight and face the Big Unit tonight.
