Astros' pitches were flying like--well, rockets--on Wednesday night...and the usual suspects were doing the launching:
  • Prince Fielder blasted his 41st in the 1st...a 3-run shot
  • Ryan Braun blasted his 28th in the 2nd...a 3-run shot
  • Corey Hart got his 20th in the 4th...a 3-run shot
  • Geoff Jenkins got his 20th, too, also in the 4th...a solo shot
  • Billy Hall notched his 13th...a solo shot in the 6th
Yovani Gallardo took control on the mound as well...0 ER in 7 IP to get the win and up his mark to 7-4, 4.27. The Cubs won as well, so the Crew is still a ½ game back. On deck: the Reds and Bronson Arroyo (7-14, 4.43) after a day off to savor a great homestand. Dave Bush (11-9, 4.83) tries to keep things going for the Crew.
