...on Friday night over the Pirates...pretty much says it all. Claudio Vargas was "on"--0 ER over 6 IP (Matt Wise, Derrick Turnbow, and Francisco Cordero each pitched a scoreless inning in relief)...Vargas also hit a double to help his cause. J.J. Hardy paced the offense (again)--4-for-5, 3 RBI's, 2 runs, including his 7th homer of the year, plus extending his hitting streak to 15 games.
Prince Fielder also drove in four...all in all a good outing that reminds fans of the '87 Brewers.
