Vargas stumbles, Parra shines in 8-5 loss

Only a quick second...Claudio Vargas gave up two 3-run homers before the end of the 3rd inning Wednesday night, as the Crew lost to the Mets, 8-5. Manny Parra then went 6.33, only allowed 1 ER, lowering his ERA to 1.84. Let's hope Ned Yost makes the decision to put Parra in the rotation (my vote is to replace Suppan, despite his experience and big paycheck).
